Julie Howard

PPS, MFT #114354
Julie’s therapeutic approach includes, but is not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems.

Through her professional journey, she came to realize that her “niche” was working with adolescents who are experiencing crises and having trouble in their lives, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders.

Professional Journey

Julie began her professional experience 15 years ago in community mental health working with dual diagnosis and chemically dependent population, providing psychotherapy for individuals groups and families for personal and emotional distress.

After working with groups in a variety of issues, her passion led into education. She pursued additional education to work within the school system to support mental health with students dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety and school aversion. She then began her private practice providing psychotherapy.

This allows for the greatest success in communication with families and individuals who are struggling with trauma or daily issues.
