Family Counseling

When a family member experiences difficulties, the whole family is affected. We share our lives, our love, and our homes with other family members, and it is normal that we also share their pain. Unfortunately, what starts as compassion—especially in a family that struggles with boundary setting and clear communication—can end up with dysfunctional communication patterns and poor boundaries. 

Family therapy offers a nurturing yet objective venue for families to voice their concerns and learn new ways of dealing with old problems. Even if one member does not wish to participate, the remainder of the family still benefits from family therapy. This can include talk therapy for adults and adolescents.
